JOB SUMMARY:
The Demand Chain Strategy Manager will work to define the Demand Chain strategy to support 7-Eleven stores to efficiently and effectively deliver product from supplier to the end customer. The primary focus areas will be defining optimal distribution models, developing partner negotiation strategy and driving analysis to aid in negotiations.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
- Analyze current product path and supply chain channels consisting of 31+ wholesale distribution centers, 24 proprietary distribution centers and direct to store (DSD) to understand and create baselines for aggregate cost, cost per unit, fixed/variable costs and service levels
- Create complex analytical models assessing multivariable scenarios to understand enterprise impact of potential network variations and changes of product path to store for >$12B of Cost of Goods purchases
- Present detailed recommendations (written and verbal) to executive leadership based on analytical modeling output to maximize customer experience, drive company goals and cost effectively support the enterprise.
- Identify strategic KPIs to drive service partner accountability, creating reporting to drive collaborative and measurable plans for continuous improvement
- Lead team of managers and Sr. Analysts to create a holistic plan for our $1.5B proprietary distribution network. This team will create evaluation methodologies, quantitatively asses partner capabilities, and recommend partner selections based on detailed analysis.
- Summarize and report RFP results along with recommended path forward.
- Develop negotiation strategies with key partners to support $12B Demand Chain strategy and future network roadmap
- Drive analysis prior to and during negotiations to ensure all needs of the 7-Eleven business are met
- Represent 7-Eleven and engage in detailed negotiations with strategic partner leadership (director +)
- Collaborate with internal executive team to understand individual and organizational priorities related to Supply Chain strategy and partner contracts

EDUCATION: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree
YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 7+ years
YEARS OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE: 2+ years
