Role Overview

Develop well-thought-out, on-brand communication and design concepts. Deliver on creative standards established for One10. Act as primary designer on assigned projects.

Scope of Work

  • Develop high-quality print and digital creative projects
  • Handle multiple timelines for client initiatives
  • Collaborate with CD/ACD in completion of projects; take direction from creative leadership team
  • Handle projects from original inception through pre-press production layouts as assigned
  • Project diversity—Work on projects for a wide range of clients from sectors including automotive, tech, pharma and more
  • Work on a variety of graphic design assignments including PowerPoint presentations, training, interactive PDFs, travel program collateral, brochures, displays, social media, branding/logo designs 
  • Opportunity to work on full communications campaigns as well as individual communications elements
  •  Act as primary designer in creating original ideas and concepts for assigned projects
  • Define design vision and client-specific brand application, present work and support it with insights and rationale
  • Participate in developing ideas for new business
  • Build strong credibility and good working relationships with clients
  • Present work internally and externally to clients as needed

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Art School or Advertising School Graduate – e.g. BFA in Design
  • 3-5 years of experience in agency or design firm
  • Advertising or design agency experience with strong production skills
  • Portfolio demonstrating strong creative concepts and execution
  • Skill set should include proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite’s main programs, including
  • InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, XD and Acrobat. Familiarity with PowerPoint is a plus
  • Strong conceptual abilities and original thinking for clients
  • Self-directed, responsible, able to meet deadlines
  • Strong internal communications skills to broader team
  • Takes direction well and know when to ask questions
  • Stays current and on-trend in the industry
  • Strong typography and foundational design skills, compositions, color
  • Range of client experiences
  • Diverse multi-disciplinary experience, examples including retail promotions, retail merchandising and environments, packaging, identity, advertising (both print and broadcast), direct interactive, collateral systems, and brand image design
