The Role
We’re seeking a driven and collaborative marketing specialist to join our Developer Growth and Marketing team as a Developer Marketing Partnership Lead. This 12-month contract role (with potential to extend) will focus on helping games thrive through smart, creative partnership marketing.
In this position, you’ll primarily lead our IP integration projects and support in-game discovery initiatives, working closely with internal teams, developers, and brand partners to help more people discover and enjoy the incredible games on our platform.
Primary Responsibilities
Lead IP Integration Projects (80% of role)
- Take ownership of 4-5 IP integration projects launching this summer
- Connect beloved intellectual property and brands with high-performing games on our platform
- Coordinate between IP holders, game developers, and internal teams to ensure successful execution
- Develop marketing plans to promote these integrated experiences
- Research and identify potential brand opportunities for future integrations
- Negotiate and secure licensing deals
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and drive measurable results
Drive Synergy Projects
- Identify opportunities to integrate internal IP (such as content from our other services) with games
- Coordinate cross-promotional activities between different business units
- Execute 1-2 major synergy projects per year
Support In-Game Discovery
- Support wayfinding experiences to help users discover more of what they love
- Work with developers to implement effective internal cross-promotion strategies
- Analyze data on cross-promotion performance
- Optimize discovery features based on user engagement metrics
Qualifications
Required Experience
- Gaming industry experience (mobile gaming strongly preferred)
- Partnership marketing experience (agency account management, brand partnerships, business development, or sponsorships)
- Experience working with external partners and managing complex stakeholder relationships
- Ability to work Pacific Time hours regardless of location
Preferred Experience
- Project or product management experience in gaming
- Experience with subscription-based services
- Understanding of user acquisition and engagement metrics
- Previous work with IP licensing or brand integrations

Location
This is a remote position, with preference for candidates located near our offices in Culver City, Cupertino, or NYC. All candidates must be available to work Pacific Time hours.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $88 to $98 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
