Our agency client based in Chicago is seeking a REMOTE eCommerce Specialist to support their client in the pet space. This is a 40 hour per week assignment that start in July and ends at the end of 2025.
The ideal eCommerce Specialist is proactive and detail-oriented with a strong understanding of the Amazon platform and eCommerce operations. This role will serve as the day-to-day lead for eCommerce initiatives, managing agency relationships, optimizing campaigns, and driving performance across Amazon and a third party vendor. While experience in the pet category is a plus, it's not required, what matters most is your ability to manage multiple timelines, take initiative, and deliver results.
eCommerce Specialist Responsibilities:
- Serve as the day-to-day lead for eCommerce operations
- Lead bi-weekly eCommerce meetings and weekly Amazon POS calls
- Collaborate closely with sales team counterparts to align on goals and execution
- Manage timelines for innovation launches and strategic planning for 2026
- Oversee Amazon and third party vendor campaigns, including sales analysis and budget pacing
- Partner with agencies to ensure campaign performance and alignment with KPIs
- Conduct ongoing campaign optimization and performance reporting
- Deliver weekly eCommerce updates and monthly ROAS/budget reports
- Prepare monthly performance summaries and contribute to QBRs
- Track and reconcile monthly budgets and approve invoices
- Lead development and execution of enhanced content (ATF, BTF, copy)
- Manage ratings and reviews strategy via Bazaarvoice
- Track third party vendor contract agreements and ensure timely execution
eCommerce Specialist Qualifications:
- 3+ years of ecommerce experience, with a strong focus on Amazon
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Experience working with agencies and cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with the pet category is a plus, but not required
Tools & Platforms: Amazon Seller/Vendor Central, Bazaarvoice, Stackline, Excel/Google Sheets
Project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com)
