Overview

A large advertising agency is seeking a Freelance Director Adobe Experience Platform Specialist to join their Martech Consulting team. This role involves leading strategic implementation and optimization of Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), and Real-Time Customer Data Platform (RTCDP). The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strategic vision to drive enterprise-wide digital transformation through Adobe's Experience Platform.

Key Responsibilities

Lead strategic planning and implementation of Adobe Experience Platform solutions (AJO, CJA, RTCDP).
Develop and oversee customer journey orchestration strategies leveraging real-time data and predictive analytics.
Manage data governance and compliance frameworks for Adobe Experience Platform implementations.
Guide cross-functional teams in best practices for journey orchestration and personalization.
Establish KPIs and measurement frameworks to demonstrate business impact and ROI.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (IT, Analytics, Marketing).
Lead proof-of-concept development and technical solution design for enterprise clients.
Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
8+ years of experience in marketing technology implementation and operations (must have agency experience).
3+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Cloud products (AJO, CJA, RTCDP).
Proven success leading enterprise-scale Adobe Experience Platform implementations.
Strong knowledge of data architecture, API integration, and customer data platforms.
Expertise in journey orchestration, real-time personalization, and multi-channel campaign execution.
Excellent project management and team leadership skills.
Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

Adobe Certified Expert in one or more Experience Platform solutions.
Experience with additional marketing automation platforms (Salesforce, Oracle, etc.).
Advanced degree in a related field.
Experience with Agile methodology and enterprise software implementation.
Knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
Previous experience in a consulting or agency environment.
Proven track record of driving digital transformation initiatives.
Experience in change management and organizational adoption strategies.
