Growth Marketing Manager
Position Overview
The Growth Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies aimed at increasing customer engagement, retention, and overall growth. This role involves leveraging various digital marketing channels and data analysis to optimize customer journeys and experiences. This is a 12-month, 40 hour per week contract role.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize engagement/retention strategies.
- Optimize programs through A/B testing, offering ideation and development of strategic recommendations based on data driven insights and strategies to engage with customers.
- Build cross-functional relationships and plans to improve performance against meaningful metrics, with a focus on experimentation and optimization.
- Collaborate with a broad range of teams, including international marketing, product, engineering, analytics and design teams.
- Develop a process of continuous improvement, where the results of this work are analyzed and insights are fed back into the plans.
- Define geo-specific narratives, value propositions and service educational messaging.
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in digital marketing, demonstrating success in achieving growth goals in user engagement and retention.
- Technical fluidness to lead development of complex customer journeys with signals, in-app placements and orchestration across engineering and operations teams
- Ability to lead experience and design of complex customer journeys
- Experience leading lifecycle marketing programs, ideally for a media platform or a consumer subscription business.
- Experience testing and optimizing marketing channels including push notification, online, email and in-app messaging marketing tactics.
- Education: BA/BS, MS/MA/MBA preferred
- Analytical problem solver with a track record of success in developing and optimizing marketing strategies and programs that drive customer engagement and retention.
- Outstanding cross functional team working skills with an ability to collaborate closely with other teams to solve problems and implement programs that achieve core business objectives.
- Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills; ability to develop strong working partnerships.
- Ability to work collaboratively under pressure, with proven experience working on complex, international, large-scale, time-critical projects.
- Strong project management capability with exceptional attention to detail.
- Possess deep understanding of A/B testing and data driven optimization marketing
- Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate a strong point of view clearly and succinctly to both senior executives and individual contributors.
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
