Industrial Designer
OVERVIEW:
We are looking for motivated and talented Industrial designers to join our growing award-winning Industrial Design team at SharkNinja.
As an Industrial Designer, you will lead design activities from concept development to product realization and production, collaborating with a team of designers, Engineer’s and Marketeer’s to create and deliver innovative, human-centered product experiences and designs for the home that delight consumers and drive business results.
Ninja Design is a team of Industrial Designers, UI and CMF Designers working on products across the Ninja brand – (Specify Brand when posting add)

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE OF INDUSTRIAL DESIGNER:
- Practice user-centered design approach to translate consumer insights into meaningful product solutions that will delight consumers both on an emotional/experiential and functional level.
- Develop and refine design for consumer products from concept to production.
- Conceptualize and visualize concepts through high quality sketches, illustration and renderings.
- Generate high quality and suitable materials for presentation.
- Create visual and functional prototypes for research and internal review.
- Deliver clean, well-built CAD packages to Engineering and Manufacturing.
- Articulate and specify design intent for manufacturing by creating specifications detailing fit, finishes, color, graphics, etc.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team to innovate design solutions.
- Solve complex problems creatively.
- Understand SharkNinja's brands and help define the company’s future product development strategies.
ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS:
- BA or BS in Industrial Design or a related field.
- MS in Industrial Design or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience as a designer involving small appliances, consumer electronics, medical, or a related field.
- A strong orginal Portfolio of creative work that clearly demonstrates a product development process.
- 2D skills via sketching, Illustrator, Photoshop etc.
- Proficience with CAD – Solidworks or Rhino required.
- Proficiency with 3D rendering programs such as Keyshot.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) along with good sound interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to work under supervision or guidance.
- Solid analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
