Responsibilities:
- This role supports the internal communications strategy and helps drive business objectives by contributing to all aspects of the company's communications channels. This role will partner with key internal stakeholders to draft and distribute a mix of written, video, and visual stories that inspire, connect and engage employees. Effectiveness of these communications will be measured by tracking established internal metrics, reporting on results and providing strategic solutions to continuously improve channel effectiveness.
- Develop and execute communications campaigns that build brand ambassadorship, inspire employees and drive engagement.
- Provide support and counsel to key internal stakeholders including drafting and distributing communications (i.e. scripts, stories, presentations, memos, visuals, etc.) for both broad and targeted audiences.
- Manage the internal communications calendar as well as the ongoing tracking and reporting of communications metrics.
- Manage internal event calendar and assist in the scheduling and coordination of companywide events.
- Ensure company intranet and digital signage are updated daily with fresh and engaging content.
- Develop engaging visual materials including presentations, graphics, and content for variety of communications platforms such as internal screens, intranet and email.
- Maintain strong relationships with business partners, including executives.
- Support Centennial planning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors/4 YearDegree
- 4 years relevant work experience. Retail environment, C-Store/Food Service Industry or CPG experience preferred.
- Proven ability to formulate and execute effective internal communications plans/strategies.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Knowledge of AP style.
- Experience managing and distributing communications content via Intranet and Email tools. Experience with Unily or Poppulo preferred.
- Solid understanding of internal audience segmentation.
- Knowledge of internal communications metrics and a proven ability to measure communications success using metrics. Reworded this to reinforce the ability to make decisions based off metrics.
- 2-3 years of experience creating visual/graphic design work.
- Strong project management skills.
