Job Description:
Are you passionate about IT support and delivering exceptional service? SUNY Broome Community College is seeking qualified applicants for an IT Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, this role involves triaging technical issues, managing endpoint configurations, supporting AV systems, and maintaining a seamless balance between usability and security.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide advanced support for Windows, MacOS, and virtual environments.
- Design, maintain, and troubleshoot AV systems across campus.
- Collaborate on IT projects, policy development, and cross-functional communication.
- Ensure timely resolution of technical incidents and maintain compliance standards.
Requirements:
An Associate's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, with 5 years of full-time IT experience is required. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field is preferred.
Experience in academic IT environments, and certifications like ITIL or ISO 27001 is preferred.
Additional Information:
The annual salary for this position is $63,548.
