
Job Description
The company's vaccine Product Marketing Owner position represents an exciting, and business critical role in a key growth driver area for our Company.
In this role, you will be a strategic partner to the US Commercial Leader, responsible for maximizing the success of current and future brand opportunities for our pediatric pneumococcal business. Additionally, you will lead a Customer Agile Team, which is a cross-functional team made up of experts in both brand and digital marketing. Using agile principles, your leadership will translate brand priorities into actionable plans that drive strategic direction and deliver value to customers and stakeholders while improving public health.
The position is based out of Upper Gwynedd, PA and will report directly to the Executive Director, US Commercial Leader.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with the US Commercial Leader and brand strategy leads to develop and evolve brand strategies, maximizing our current opportunities and identifying opportunities for future growth
- Take full responsibility for leading CAT in setting and meeting strategic priorities and trimester objectives; lead agile trimester planning stages to enable teams to respond quickly and effectively to changing business needs and priorities
- Prioritize key business opportunities across the pediatric pneumococcal business, ensuring the team is focused on highest value opportunities
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing Customer Agile Team, comprised of experts in marketing, campaign design, development, and measurement
- Drive forward digital and data analytics, customer, and market insights to define strategic choices
- Utilize a test and learn approach, leveraging data to optimize strategy and execution
- Lead CAT to meet trimester milestones, including strategy evolution and promotional campaigns
- Serve as subject matter expert for market understanding and customer insights providing expertise and guidance to CAT
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the enterprise including Data & Analytics, Contracting & Distribution, Vaccine Portfolio Marketing Teams, Sales, Medical Affairs, Policy, OCAR, Finance, Global Marketing, Manufacturing, Global Communications, Regulatory, and Legal/Compliance
- Manage Development Team budgets and profit plan point decisions
- Partner with other US Vaccines Product Marketing Owners to drive transparency, coordination, and prioritization across the teams
- Collaborate with Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, and the Customer Agile Team during RPM, review, and office hours
Education:
- Required: BA/BS
- Preferred: MBA
Required Experience and Skills:
- Minimum of (5) years combined experience in marketing, customer segment marketing and/or payer marketing
- Adaptability to change, and demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with various teams including marketing, sales, medical, and other cross-functional partners to achieve business results
- Experience leading cross-functional teams without authority to achieve business results and advocate for agile ways of working
- Demonstrated use of data to make strategic choices and solve problems
- Deep understanding of omnichannel marketing, including digital and non-digital channels, and experience working with agencies
- Proficiency in fiscal management, including brand budgeting, profit planning, and sales forecasting
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Prior experience in the U.S. vaccines marketplace
- Understanding of US commercial and regulatory requirements
- Familiarity with agile tools like Jira, Trimester Business Review, and Mural
