Our client is looking for a Product Manager to join their team!
You will work onsite in Manhattan Monday through Thursday and remotely on Fridays. There is some international travel required for sales meetings, trade shows, and factory visits.
Responsibilities:
-Help build successful product assortments
-Work with factories and manufacturing partners to bring products from concept to production from design to prototyping, testing, and, manufacturing
-Reverse engineering: analyze competitors' products to understand their design and functionality in efforts to improve current products/ provide alternatives
-Creating new licensing brands for discount retail partners
Qualifications:
-4+ years of product development experience
-Experience managing products from conception through production
-Proven success in product assortment creation
-Reverse engineering experience
-Knowledgeable about design software
-Strong knowledge of the manufacturing processes, market trends, product testing, and regulatory requirements.
-Must be creative, communicative, detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines; must have strong PM skills
-You must be okay with travel!
