Our client, a growing non profit in the health equity space, is looking for a Social Media Manager to join their team for approximately 10 hours/week starting in the New Year.
The role is primarily remote, however, you may be asked to go onsite for events the non profit hosts as needed.
As the Social Media Manager, you will be working directly with the Founders of the non profit to elevate the non profit's social media presence. The Social Media Manager will also collaborate with the Virtual Events Manager to strategize the promotion of events.
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for:
- developing the campaign strategy for X, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Threads
- bringing ideas to the table to get the non profit onto TikTok
- creating basic static images in Canva and writing copy for all social posts and stories across channels
- overseeing a content calendar and ensuring that all campaigns are posted on time
- reporting on analytics and implementing strategies to optimize the performance of future campaigns
- day to day community management responding to comments and messages
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of social media management experience ideally in the non profit space
- proficient across social channels
- able to develop and oversee a content calendar
- able to report on analytics and make suggestions for improvement as needed
- a strong communicator and collaborator while working offsite
