Motion Designer

Position Overview
Our Pharma client is  seeking a talented Motion Designer to join their freelance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging motion graphics and video content for various social media platforms.  This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and has a strong eye for social media visual storytelling through motion graphics and animation.  This week will be a fully-remote freelance role that will be about 10 to 20 hours a week.

Key Responsibilities

• Create engaging, high-quality short-form video content (10 to 15 seconds) optimized for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Design and animate motion graphics & animations that clearly communicate key messages and brand identity in a quick, concise way that resonates with patients
• Edit raw footage and repurpose existing content into compelling social snippets
• Collaborate with social media strategists team to understand content goals and translate them into visual assets
• Distill complex information into clear, concise, and visually appealing formats
• Manage projects and QA autonomously to ensure end deliverables are error free, brand compliant and consider regulatory restrictions

  Qualifications

  • Proven experience in motion graphics, animation, and video editing for social media
  • Proficiency in tools such as Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar
  • Strong understanding of social media trends, formats, and best practices with a portfolio of work to support
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Experience running Quality Assurance checks on your own work, ensuring no errors 
  • Experience in the healthcare space, specifically with MLR review and pharma social media regulations is preferred
