JOB SUMMARY

The Coordinator, Marketing is responsible for an array of duties focused on the fan experience at LPGA Tournaments and Events. This position is heavily focused around planning, programming, and logistical support for LPGA events and experiences. This role will focus around enhancing the fan experience through unique activations, on-site activities and experiences, and data capture to help contribute to the overall fan and revenue growth of the LPGA. The ideal candidate must have a professional attitude, can balance multiple projects at once, a strong attention to detail and can work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends, as required.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Partner with Director, Marketing to manage and maintain the annual calendar and schedule of events and experiences including LPGA owned events, partner/sponsor event activations, Hospitality events, internal LPGA events, and other experiential events.

· Partner with Director, Marketing to plan and execute event logistics including site visits, timelines, budgets, vendor management, run of show, brand focused initiatives, consistent branding/look and feel, and internal communication plans.

· Collaborate with internal stakeholders to stay up to date on best practices and develop new solutions and efficiencies on an event-to-event basis.

· Ideate and develop creative, engaging fan activations and experiences at all LPGA Owned Tournaments and Events.

· Partner with Marketing team to develop signage package, creative needs, and incorporate appropriate brand guidelines for all events.

· Collaborate with Properties and Corporate Partnerships to ensure all contracted partner assets and obligations are being met on an event-by-event basis.

· Provide post-event reports and recaps to share with partnerships team.

· Help to secure and push-through all vendor and venue identification and contracts.

· Support budget management for events and provide regular updates to Director, Marketing.

· Work collaboratively with Properties team to establish necessary staffing plans, timelines, and all event operation needs.

· Work collaboratively with internal departments including ticket sales, broadcast, business intelligence, tournaments, and corporate partnerships to maximize revenue for LPGA events to ensure consistent and constant communication.

· Partner with Business Intelligence to compile post-event reports and define best practices to share internally.

· Support influencer communications in partnership with Coordinator, Event Marketing.

QUALIFICATIONS

· B.A. Degree in marketing or related field.

· Minimum 1-3 years of experience working in event management, live experience, and/or game presentation (or related experience).

· Experience in sports and/or entertainment preferred.

· Previous knowledge or experience working with vendors preferred.

· Ability to problem solve, think quickly, and develop solutions in response to sudden changing events/activities or unforeseen circumstances.

· Excellent communicator with strong ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously.

· Perform under tight deadlines thinking clearly under pressure.

· Must be detail-oriented and highly organized.

· The ability to work well and collaborate with others while maintaining a professional attitude in a team environment.

· Ability to multi-task, willingness to travel to onsite events, work non-traditional hours and work nights/weekends as needed.
