Our financial services client is looking for a Visual Designer for a 12-month assignment in NYC (40 hrs/week). This role may start off as hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH); however, please be aware there's a strong possibility it may change to 5 days/week onsite. Remote work is not an option for this client.
Description:
Join our team as a Visual Designer and help us create stunning visual experiences for our clients. You will be responsible for assisting in the creation of producing high-quality graphics, animations, and other visual elements that will be used in various digital and print media. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of design principles, and the ability to adapt efficiently our brand.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques for print, and web.
- Ensure all design work is high-quality, and meets accessibility and usability standards.
- Highly proficient with adobe suite products, Figma and similar tools.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends/best practices in design, and incorporate them into design work as appropriate.
- Be able to establish a clear and consistent system for naming and organizing files to improve efficiency, ensure easy access, and enhance collaboration within the team.
Qualifications: - Portfolio of work that demonstrates a wide range of creative projects.
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Ability to take direction and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Assist in the development of assets, graphics, and layouts for digital and print media.
- Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including financial information. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
