JOB SUMMARY:

We're looking for a highly motivated Analyst to join the Restaurant team. In this role, you'll work closely with Category Management, Operations & Executives to support the Restaurant business and initiatives. This role is responsible for conducting strategic advanced data and analytics and visualization, along with the creation/maintenance of business reporting. This role will support a variety of projects within the Restaurant Category team. 7-Eleven operates 1,100 QSR restaurants under multiple brands including Laredo Taco Company, Speedy Café and Roost.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

Data Analysis & Insights

Analyze consumer behavior, sales trends, and market data to identify growth opportunities and support strategic initiatives.
Research category performance and competitive dynamics to inform assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies.
Leverage tools like Power BI and internal systems to generate regular and ad hoc reports covering sales performance, item movement, SKU rationalization, planogram effectiveness, and pricing studies.
Conduct opportunity gap analyses to identify underperforming areas and recommend actionable improvements.

Business Support & Reporting

Deliver accurate, timely, and relevant insights to internal teams, including Category Managers, Directors, and Executives.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to provide recommendations that support merchandising and category growth goals.
Present findings and performance dashboards that aid in decision-making and strategic planning.
Manage and execute field analysis projects to assess performance and identify store-level opportunities.

Project Management & Strategy

Lead and support cross-functional projects, including the development of project plans, timelines, and processes.
Partner with IT to understand data structures, ensure data integrity, and enhance reporting capabilities.
Identify market gaps and contribute to the development of strategies to drive growth in assigned categories or regions.

EDUCATION: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree
YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 1+ years
YEARS OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE: NA

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Experience: 1 - 3 years of experience
Strong analytic skills with a high attention to detail
Experienced with MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)
Knowledgeable in data visualization products such as PowerBI
Solution based analytics and report development
Self-starter with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
