Director, Employer Marketing, Financial Help & Advice Solutions

The WI Employer & Advisor Marketing team is looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, tenured Director to join the team. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to drive B2B awareness, adoption, and advocacy for Fidelity's Workplace Investing managed account solution, Personalized Planning & Advice (PPA). The role reports to the VP, Workplace Employer Marketing, Financial Help & Advice Solutions, and will have direct reports.

The Role

Join our team and you will have the chance to:

  • Drive the overall B2B marketing strategy and plan for this part of the business; plan alongside our broader WI marketing team, the product partners, and the client engagement group to evangelize our plans and ensure proper prioritization across the business each quarter

  • Function as a subject matter expert to translate PP&A business goals to sound marketing practices; work across WI marketing to ensure collaboration & alignment

  • Build compelling stories and journeys to demonstrate to Plan Sponsor clients and their employees how this product can contribute to their company's goals and employee's satisfaction.

  • Lead product positioning, value prop creation, and content strategy. Partner with our digital channel, performance marketing and web teams to design, test and evolve creative lead gen and lead nurturing tactics; Conceptualize and execute multi-channel B2B campaigns, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging across all channels.

  • Partner with Product and Organizational Readiness to execute go-to-market strategies; Partner with product, sales and relationship management teams to craft supporting collateral that best position these products to clients and prospects.

  • Identify, analyze, and report on success metrics and quickly pivot based on results; Drive client engagement and retention by delivering on strategies that reinforce product value across consultants, existing PP&A clients, and client-facing teams.

  • Support your direct reports' efforts as well as work across the Financial Help & Advice team, as needed, to drive positive business outcomes and successful marketing efforts


The Expertise and Skills You Bring:

  • Experience crafting B2B marketing narratives: ability to develop coordinated communication plans and messaging approaches for complex, multi-faceted, innovative approaches for campaigns/programs

  • Expert in marketing program strategy: ability to assess, recommend, build, and execute on multi-channel B2B campaigns and promotions

  • Strong project management skills and ability to work independently: continually advance projects across multiple platforms, channels, and partner organizations

  • Demonstrated relationship leadership and influencing skills: ability to actively collaborate with business partners to understand client needs, identify strategic opportunities, and successfully implement comprehensive programs

  • Full understanding of how to consult on/shape business partner questions/hypotheses and advise on potential marketing efforts and develop a comprehensive multi-channel marketing plan

  • Background in solving unexpected challenges and changes in marketing strategy or campaign direction

  • A digital-first, data-driven approach, with the ability to analyze data & performance metrics and identify trends, insights, and areas of improvement to inform marketing strategy

  • Demonstrated strong people leadership skills / manager effectiveness in previously leading direct reports; offered support & guidance for associates through active listening, coaching, and consistent interactions to meet their individual goals and drive business impact

  • 10+ years of successfully developing and driving multiple B2B marketing initiatives and campaigns with large cross-functional teams

  • Bachelor's degree; MBA preferred


The Team

You will be a key contributor in WI's strategic marketing organization and a leader on the Financial Help & Advice Solutions team. Our B2B marketing organization provides strategic and tactical marketing support to the Workplace business. A dynamic team, we:

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies to drive awareness and consideration for WI offerings

  • Generate demand and leads for new client acquisition and relationship expansion

  • Drive employer advocacy across all the pillars of the WI B2B value proposition

Salary Grade:

7

The base salary range for this position is $103,000-211,000 USD per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
