JOB SUMMARY:
7-Eleven is looking for a Director of Fresh Food Infrastructure to accelerate Fresh Foods growth. You will be responsible for strategic oversight of the Fresh Food business system (Bakery and Commissary) and Fresh services team to elevate the products being manufactured each day and simplifying operations to execute at the store level. This role will also work cross functionally to develop and scale the food manufacturing network of the future to further elevate our food offering and customer experience
This role is 100% onsite in our Irving headquarters.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Business System - Lead team managing 29 third-party partners producing Bakery and Commissary assortment 365 days a year for 8,500 stores (410M units, $390M expense). Strategic oversight of daily production, forecasting, operational opportunities, crisis management & problem solving to ensure that our store receive a stable supply of high quality products every day.
Fresh Services - Lead a team of engineering and operations professionals focused on driving operational efficiency through: the implementation of store layout improvements (core and restaurant), increased cooking capabilities, scaling and maintaining dynamic printer solutions, and building/maintaining comprehensive in-store training
Value Chain - Support a global initiative in partnership with international business partners to construct facilities that support the company's future growth aspirations. This includes enhancing manufacturing capabilities to produce high-quality, differentiated products driven by customer insights and demand.
Contract / Financial Management - Set the direction for partner Contracts and the current quarterly Financial Review process to create simplicity while positively impacting key business success metrics.
Owned Facility Management - Directly Manage 3 facilities (2 OKC, 1 MN) supporting 350+ stores with daily Bakery and Commissary Assortment (44M Units and $22M Expense)
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree and/or relevant experience
10+ years of management/people leadership experience
Expertise in manufacturing process controls, lean manufacturing (workflow, labor, yield, overhead etc.) and logistics.
Experience in developing, negotiating and overseeing contracts, leases and food manufacturing design.
Expertise in in store equipment and associate job training.
Competency in P&L Analysis & Management.
Expertise in creating CSAs and executive presentations.
