Overview of the Role
Our global beauty retailer client is seeking a Product Manager to support a global retail and ecommerce platform. This role sits at the intersection of customer experience, marketing technology, and emerging AI-driven capabilities, supporting a product that connects creators with consumers through curated shopping experiences.
The Product Manager will partner closely with the team to execute against the roadmap, translate business and marketing requirements into technical solutions, and continuously improve the product based on user feedback and performance data. The ideal candidate is a strong operator who thrives in highly collaborative, matrixed environments and is comfortable bridging the gap between marketing, creator, and engineering teams.
The Basics
- Duration: Ongoing/Long-Term
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Location: Fully remote, MUST align to PST working hours
Top 3 Required Qualifications
- Ideally 4 to 7 years of product management experience, with strong focus on execution, delivery, and working within agile scrum environments
- Experience supporting clients within the retail or eCommerce space, ideally with incorporating AI into an existing product workflow or utilizing AI automation features within a product or platform
- Strong understanding of marketing data and performance metrics, including affiliate models, attribution, conversion, and growth optimization
Other Qualifications
- Experience working in matrixed organizations with cross-functional stakeholders across product, engineering, marketing, and partner teams
- Background in agency, marketing, or creator-focused environments strongly preferred
- Ability to translate business and marketing requirements into user stories and product specifications
- Experience managing backlogs, writing user stories, and participating in agile development processes
- Exposure to personalization, recommendations, or customer experience optimization is a plus
- Experience with retail or ecommerce platforms is a plus
- Interest in or experience with AI-enabled tools and workflows, with a willingness to learn and adopt new technologies
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, particularly with non-technical partners
- Self-starter mindset with curiosity, adaptability, and strong ownership
Key Responsibilities
- Execute on the product roadmap for eCommerce experiences, supporting ongoing enhancements and feature improvements
- Translate marketing, creator, and business requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and product documentation
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and standups
- Partner with engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-quality product features
- Collaborate with marketing, affiliate, and influencer teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business goals
- Leverage performance data and user feedback to identify opportunities for optimization and growth
- Support initiatives across customer experience, martech, and emerging AI capabilities to improve personalization and engagement
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on progress, risks, and outcomes
- Continuously explore new tools and approaches, including AI-assisted workflows, to improve product development and delivery
