Responsible for leading all aspects of media management, including comprehensive media strategy across paid and owned across the platform portfolio of products. Provides subject matter expertise to influence key internal and external stakeholders such as partner agencies, strategic partners, cross-functional teams and executive management. Provides strategy and campaign level analysis to identify key insights and to optimize results. May manage a team including exempt and non-exempt employees. Provides subject matter guidance to employees as required. Develops processes and procedures to drive department efficiencies. Core Responsibilities
- Develops comprehensive media strategy and ensures timely development and execution, partnering with agency teams.
- Ensures offer alignment with messaging and media strategy in collaboration with ecommerce, product marketing, and agency teams.
- Ensures proper maintenance and quality control for media planning and buying.
- Solicits media proposals from vendors (print, online, out of home, and non-traditional media) and work with agencies on development of POV.
- Works with agencies to develop competitive reviews and present findings and relevant takeaways to product marketing teams.
- Develops rich and effective content management and customer engagement strategies and campaigns.
- Works with partner agencies to develop effective test and learn framework to maximize learnings and insights across all digital channels and tactics.
- Coordinates corporate and division media efforts and evolve standards and processes/methodologies for aligning corporate and division media spend.
- Collaborates with strategic partners, agencies, internal functional teams to develop, execute and evolve all aspects of media strategy/plan for paid and non-paid media.
- Collaborates with downstream user experience teams to improve user experience, engagement and lead conversion.
- Works with measurement and analytics teams to develop robust performance management and campaign analytics to track and optimize return on investment and related key performance indicators, to determine media contributions to sales through different types of direct sales (ecommerce) and attribution modeling.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
