




Key Responsibilities
Analytical Support: Provide end to end analytical support to an enterprise business line(s) utilizing EDAIs Core competencies - analytic capabilities, big data, measurement, and decision analysis.
Adopt to operate in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment and handle multiple competing project priorities. Apply Ameriprise data systems knowledge to support decision and strategy problems in key business areas, demonstrating strong technical and problem-solving skills.
Business Partner Engagement: Build new or maintain existing business partner engagement: Understand business objectives/priorities and build data solutions and analytics capabilities to drive value/impact.
Identify opportunities for deep-dive analyses that drive tangible business results independently. Present the data in a clear and compelling way to communicate insights, tell a story, and influence strategy.
Business Requirements Management: Collaborate with external and/or internal business partners to finalize the business scope, create business requirements, translate business requirements into technical requirements, execute or facilitate execution against those requirements, perform all required quality control processes to ensure highest quality. May directly lead projects.
Data Expert: Function as a data expert and steward for an assigned enterprise business line(s) to design and construct effective solutions to business problems.
Analytics Tool Expert: Function as an expert and steward of one or more analytic tools. Be a subject matter expert for those tools and create a strategy for maximizing their benefits and effectiveness.
Operational Excellence: Identify opportunities for operational excellence with cross-functional teams that are a part of our agile team. Some examples include analytics automation, implementation of agile methodologies, integration of Artificial Intelligence capabilities, standardization of data rules, enhancing QA process, identifying opportunities to improve speed to market, self-service enablement for the business, etc.
Required Qualifications
- Strong project management skills demonstrated through driving results and managing people at various levels without direct reporting.
- Ability to collaborate and build new business partner relationships.
- Knowledge of measurement methodologies, experimental design, data/sampling problems, cost-benefit, modeling, forecasting, key business metrics.
- Strong analytical problem solving skills.
- Competence in using analytic and reporting tools (e.g. SAS, R, Python, Enterprise Guide, MS Office, etc.).
- Proven flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (4 years)
- 5+ years of experience in marketing or digital analytics
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in marketing or digital analytics
- Expert in 2 or more analytics and reporting tools (e.g. Adobe Customer Journey Analytics, Alteryx/DataIku, PowerBI/Tableau, etc.).

Base Pay Salary
The estimated base salary for this role is $98,100 - $132,400 / year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
