




Marketing Copywriter
Position Overview
As a Marketing Copywriter, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience by creating clear, concise, and compelling content that guides users through our digital products. You will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and developers to ensure that the language we use enhances usability and aligns with our brand voice. This is a 12-month, 40 hour per week contract role.
Key Responsibilities
- Crafting copy within existing tone, language, and design systems.
- Writing engaging headlines, push notifications, and other in-app touch points.
- Balancing customer goals, business requirements, and brand values.
- Collaborating with growth and business teams, as well as designers and other writers.
- Addressing feedback and improving performance of our content through experimentation and testing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, English, or a related field.
- Proven experience in marketing copywriting or a similar role, with a strong portfolio of work.
- Strong understanding of Marketing, content strategy and how it impacts user experience.
- Excellent copywriting and editing skills, with a knack for crafting clear and persuasive messages.
- Familiarity with user interface design principles and usability testing methodologies.
- Strong research skills, with the ability to analyze user data and translate findings into actionable content improvements.
- Experience with information architecture and content organization.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, developers, and product teams.
- Knowledge of branding and how it informs user communication.
- Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices in content creation.
- UX writing experience is a plus
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
